Two Hurt In Head-On Crash on Occidental Road
The accident was reported Wednesday morning west of Santa Rosa.

Two drivers were injured and hospitalized after a head-on crash on Occidental Road in west Santa Rosa Wednesday morning, a Santa Rosa police sergeant said.
Hannah Rae Kahler, 27, was driving a Ford Mustang west on Occidental Road and Kari Leigh Cagle, 43, was driving a Chevrolet Suburban east around 8:51 a.m. when the vehicles collided head-on in the eastbound lane, Sgt. Ryan Corcoran said.
Kahler, whose Mustang drifted over the double yellow line into the oncoming Suburban, was extricated from her vehicle, Corcoran said.

The vehicles sustained major damage and both drivers were taken to a hospital for treatment of non life-threatening injuries, Corcoran said.
The collision closed Occidental Road until 9:58 a.m., and the accident is still under investigation, Corcoran said.
