WATCH: Crooks Break Into Petaluma Optical Store, Steal Oakleys

The Friday incident was captured on store surveillance.

From Uber Optics on Kentucky Street in Petaluma:

“Whelp, crappy way to start the weekend. I have never had this happen before in my 25 years of Optical. We got broken into early (Friday) morning at around 4:52 a.m. They smashed in our front door and stole all the Oakleys (thankfully nothing else). Unfortunately, my alarm tripped a full 1 minute after they got in so they had plenty of time to grab a lot.

“Petaluma friends have already been so helpful and supportive. Mike’s Glass repair is already here and it’s barely 8 a.m. Here is a video of the break in. They were definitely professionals with gloves, hoodies and the whole bit. Looks like they have done this before. Does anyone recognize the language they are speaking? And what they are saying?

“Such a bummer. I have such a passion and love for what I do... It’s like getting my heart ripped out. Our pretty little shop has been violated.”
