Work will continue Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until dark with occasional work scheduled on Saturdays. This Saturday, August 22, crews will not be working.
“We are very thankful to the public for their cooperation. The road closure allowed us to complete a significant amount of underground construction while school was out of session and ask for further support during the duration of this project,” said City Manager Darrin Jenkins.
When work is completed on Snyder Lane, the road will continue to have two-way traffic with an added plant-filled median and upgraded walkability features.
“During this time of construction, we ask that everyone use caution when traveling along Snyder and Rohnert Park Expressway. We appreciate the cooperation and patience,” Art da Rosa, Deputy City Engineer for the City of Rohnert Park and project manager.
