Join us in Heron Hall for this special, all-day event with
Charlie Kennard. Each participant will examine a variety of California Indian
style basket weaving, and then will be given the opportunity to make a small
willow shoot, open-weave basket. Such baskets were the main utility vessels of
traditional life in many areas, and for which Euro-Americans had no substitute.
This event is $75 dollars ($65 for Laguna Foundation members); Pre-registration
is required at www.lagunafoundation.org. All proceeds benefit the Laguna
Foundation.
