Breaking: A man suspected of driving drunk Tuesday near Sebastopol crashed into a car driven by a pregnant Petaluma woman, authorities say.

SONOMA COUNTY, CA -- A man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence for a crash on state Highway 12 east of Sebastopol late Monday afternoon that caused a pregnant driver in another car to miscarry, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Tristan Taliesin, 40, of Santa Rosa, was driving a Toyota Scion east on Highway 12 east of Merced Avenue around 4:45 p.m. and the pregnant 33-year-old Santa Rosa woman was driving a Toyota Camry west on Highway 12, CHP Officer Jon Sloat said.

Taliesin's Scion drifted into the westbound lane and struck the Camry head-on. The two drivers and a 27-year-old Petaluma woman who was a passenger in the Scion were taken to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital with major injuries.
