• Suspect in custody after stolen work truck chase from Los Angeles ends near Rosamond (bakersfieldnow.com) — A police pursuit of a stolen work truck from Los Angeles ended late Thursday morning on Highway 14 near Backus Road, just outside Rosamond, after CHP used a spike strip. The truck, marked with traffic signs and cones, was followed for nearly two hours before the driver finally stopped and was taken into custody without further incident.
