A Watt Avenue bowling alley will donate 20 percent of its proceeds Sunday to help a local teacher whose son has cancer.
The teacher is Mrs. Brown, who teaches fifth grade at Golden Empire Elementary School; she found out last month that her son had a cancerous brain tumor. He's currently undergoing chemotherapy treatments.
"Come with your family and friends, have some pizza, bowl a few games and enjoy family-fun while taking time out for Timothy," a flier for the event states.
