After repeated violations and discarded contaminated items, the facility finally passed a follow-up inspection with a green placard, but the incident raises serious concerns about food safety for Rosemont students and staff. 
• High school football: Hawks crush Wolverines to open SVC play (lodinews.com) — Rosemont High's Wolverines were shut out 42-0 by Liberty Ranch in their Sierra Valley Conference opener, struggling on offense until a late drive under a running clock. The loss drops Rosemont to 2-2 overall and 0-1 in league play, with a road game at Amador next week offering a chance to regroup and rebound.
