- Run Rocklin's sixteenth run is set for April 16 at the Sunset Whitney Recreation Area! This is a great fundraiser every year for the Matt Redding Foundation. Sign up now before it sells out! "Cost for adults (19-64) is $40 for the 5K, $55 for the 12K and $65 for the half marathon. Kids 18-under pay $30 for the 5K, $35 for the 12K and $55 for the Half Marathon." (Roseville Today)
- Church Street at Elm Street was closed for a short time on Sunday due to a major traffic accident. Motorists were asked to avoid the area while the investigation into the incident took place. (Roseville Police Department via Facebook)
- The Placer County Board of Supervisors proclaimed February to be Grand Jury Awareness Month. “The hard work done by grand juries has a great effect on our communities and makes California a better place to live,” the proclamation reads. Both current and past members of the Grand Jury of Placer County were recognized in the proclamation. (Gold Country Media)
- Did you know that the UC Master Gardeners of Placer County is a free resource for county residents? The Master Gardeners is "a group of volunteers formally trained through a program supported by Placer County and the University of California to extend research-based sustainable gardening and composting information to the public through various educational outreach methods." - Join Roseville firefighters "on Saturday, March 11, from 9:00 am - 11:00 am as we open the doors to Roseville Fire Station 9 (2451 Hayden Parkway) for a Fire Station Open House!
