  1. The family of Trevor Swahn is still looking for answers two years after their loved one was killed in a hit-and-run accident on Sierra College Boulevard. Unfortunately, they have very few clues to go on. Police have a very blurry video taken from a quarter mile away that they believe shows a car hit Swahn, turned around to see what happened and then drove off. You can't tell, from the video, what type of car it is. The family is offering a $20,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest in the case. (ABC10.com KXTV)
  2. Officers from the Sacramento, Folsom, Elk Grove and West Sacramento police departments teamed with Citrus Heights police on Tuesday to enforce stop sign violations throughout the city of Citrus Heights. In all, they made 131 stops that resulted in 113 citations in three hours. (ABC10.com KXTV)
  3. The Cliff Hamlow Champion of Character Award was given this year to William Jessup volleyball player Cloe Gunter. The award is given each year to one male and one female athlete who "demonstrate the five core values of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) Champions of Character program which are respect, responsibility, integrity, sportsmanship and servant leadership." (Gold Country Media)
  4. Lincoln residents and officials are showing a growing concern over contamination from Lincoln's former Titan 1 Missile Silo Site. Officials met there on February 2 to discuss options for cleaning up the site's contamination. Center for Public Environmental Oversight director Lenny Siegel led the February 2 meeting. “The big problem is that it’s been ignored for years by the Army Corps of Engineers,” Siegel said. “None of the homes in the area are currently at risk but if nothing is done, contamination will spread underneath Sun City homes.” (Gold Country Media)
