  1. Some folks in Roseville wear their support for pediatric patients on their sleeves — or rather, their arms. Wild Bill's Tattoo in Roseville holds a tattoo-a-thon every year to raise money for UC Davis Children’s Hospital. To date, the tattoo parlor raised over $275,000 for the cause through these events. Tattoo artists volunteer their time, and all money from the tattoos, including tips, is donated. Some artists even fly in for the event. (ABC10.com KXTV)
  2. La Huaca Peruvian restaurant is back in business in Roseville! The restaurant changed locations and can now be found at 1850 Douglas Boulevard. It took almost a year to get back up and running, but guests say the Peruvian food was worth the wait. La Huaca General Manager Laura Morales said the restaurant will soon have folk dances and live music to go along with the authentic fare. (ABC10.com KXTV)
  3. The Placer County Board of Supervisors approved $600,000 to help local workers, especially in East County, afford housing in the area. The program pays local workers 16% of the cost of the home in return for deeds restricting the homes to use only by people who work in the local market. The money came from reserved transient occupancy tax dollars. (placer.ca.gov)
  4. Sixty-nine-year-old Gary L. Benson of Cameron Park is sitting in jail today, accused of driving under the influence and striking three individuals with the Tesla he was driving. The incident happened in the Walmart parking lot on Douglas Boulevard and Sierra College Boulevard in Granite Bay. The victims were two children, ages 9 and 10, who were were at a Girl Scout table at the Walmart entryway, and a 78-year-old female. (Gold Country Media)

  • Action Camera in Roseville is having a Zootography Workshop on March 10. "Class topics will include lens selection, Zootography composition tips, how to overcome fences and glass and much more!"
