Here are the top stories today in Roseville:
- Von Housen Automotive Group has sold Mercedes-Benz of Rocklin, along with several other dealerships in the region. “I plan to continue my philanthropic work in the greater Sacramento area, which has been so good to us over the years,” said George Grinzewitsch, Jr. owner of the Von Housen Automotive Group. He also "plans to serve another year on the Greater Sacramento Economic Council Board and to continue to operate and expand his real estate portfolio." (Roseville Today)
- In a coordinated theft on Monday, five people were arrested attempting to flee after a jewelry store heist in the 100 block of Galleria Boulevard in Roseville. "A sixth suspect was booked into juvenile hall." Roseville Police say they believe another coordinated theft took place Wednesday at a sporting goods store on Fairway Drive. Several people were arrested and booked into the Placer County Jail. (Sacramento Bee via MSN)
- A Folsom police officer recently received his fourth "Life Saving Award" when he saved the life of a man who suffered a heart attack at a cross country meet at Folsom High School. He performed CPR on the man until medical help arrived. "Words can't describe the feeling when you're saving someone's life. You have that emotional connection from there on out with that person...I want to make a difference each and every single day," officer David Rojo said. (CBS Sacramento via MSN)
