La Familia Counseling Center Continues COVID Testing Services
La Familia Counseling Center proudly continues to offer COVID-19 testing services

Sacramento, CA - La Familia Counseling Center (La Familia) is proud to continue to offer COVID-19 testing services. Most community-led testing sites around the region and the state discontinued their COVID-19 testing sites due to the decline in COVID-19 cases within the community, the successful vaccination efforts, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's (CDC) transition from emergency response to sustainable public health practices.
La Familia has been a vital and trusted community organization and was authorized to continue to offer this critical resource to the multicultural community. Their weekly testing site will operate every Monday from 9:00 a.m. until Noon at the Maple Neighborhood Center.
“We are grateful that the community continues to trust us with their health and well-being,” said Rachel Rios, La Familia Counseling Center’s Executive Director. “We want to offer this important service for the community members who may need antigen testing and results to return to work or for peace of mind.”

“By ensuring access to testing, we continue to empower individuals to make informed decisions about their health and take necessary precautions to protect themselves and their loved ones against COVID, which has not gone away,” said Rios.
