Congresswoman Zoe Lofgren highlighted how the project supports Salinas families, from safer play areas to better access to gardens and creative activities, as part of a broader wave of federal investments in Salinas projects.

Salinas clinic brings mental health care to Latino, farmworker families (thecalifornian.com) ā A new ALAS mental health clinic has opened on Blanco Circle in Salinas, offering free, culturally responsive counseling and wraparound support for Latino and farmworker families through grant funding. Leaders say it fills a major gap in early-intervention services, with plans to expand into Medi-Cal, group and family therapy, and a mobile āEquity Expressā bus that will bring care directly to Salinas Valley fields and neighborhoods.
