3 Arson Suspects Sought In Fallbrook Area Of San Diego County
The brush fire caused an estimated $30,000 in damages.
FALLBROOK, CA — Authorities sought the public's help Wednesday to find three juveniles who started a brush fire last month in northern San Diego County.
The brush fire was reported at about 12:30 p.m. July 12 in the 2300 block of Green Canyon Road in Fallbrook, according to the San Diego County Sheriff's Department.
Firefighters quickly put out the blaze, which burned about a quarter-acre and a large fence, sheriff's Sgt. Anthony Portillo said. Damage was estimated at around $30,000.

Detectives reviewed surveillance video that showed a white 1999 Toyota 4Runner off-roading in the area, Portillo said. The video also showed three juveniles setting off a firework just before the start of the fire.
The suspects were described as white male juveniles. One boy was wearing a white t-shirt and dark pants and two boys were wearing dark clothing.

Tipsters can also call the San Diego County Crime Stoppers anonymous tip line at 888-580-8477. Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward to anyone with information that leads to an arrest in this case.
