Man Killed In Motorcycle Crash On SR-76 ID'd
The 33-year-old died at the scene of the crash.
SAN DIEGO, CA — Authorities have publicly identified a man killed over the Fourth of July weekend in a motorcycle crash on state Route 76 in San Diego County.
Jorge Villa, 33, of Temecula tried to pass a pickup truck around 6:30 p.m. Sunday on westbound SR-76 in Pauma Valley, according to the California Highway Patrol and San Diego County Medical Examiner's Office.
The motorcycle hit the driver's side of the truck, authorities said. Villa lost control and struck a tree. He died at the scene of the crash.
