Motorcyclist Killed In SR-76 Crash In San Diego County
The man was ejected from the motorcycle and pronounced dead at the scene.

SAN DIEGO, CA — A man was killed over the weekend in a crash on state Route 76 in San Diego County, authorities said Monday.
The crash happened shortly before 6:30 p.m. Sunday near SR-76 and Sengme Oaks Road, near the La Jolla Indian Reservation, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The rider of a Yamaha Tenere 700, a 33-year-old man from Temecula, was heading westbound on SR-76 when he crashed into the back of a Toyota Tacoma, CHP officer Hunter Gerber said. The motorcyclist was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene.

The roadway was affected for several hours while authorities investigated the collision, Gerber said. It was not immediately known if alcohol or drugs contributed to the cause of the crash.
The crash remains under investigation. Anyone with information was asked to contact the Oceanside Area CHP office at 760-643-3400.
