Body Reported On I-5 Near La Jolla Parkway
The northbound I-5 left lane was closed near the La Jolla Parkway exit for several hours.
SAN DIEGO, CA — An unidentified body was found on the freeway Thursday morning.
A body was struck by at least one vehicle in the fast lane of Interstate 5 north, near the La Jolla Parkway exit, around 6 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol. According to CHP logs, it is "highly likely they're not the first ones to hit the body."
The details of the accident were not immediately clear.
