Box Truck Overturns, Forces Freeway Connector Closure In San Diego
The truck is blocking traffic lanes.

SAN DIEGO, CA — An overturned box truck forced a freeway connector closure Monday in San Diego.
The truck overturned shortly before 10:20 a.m. Monday on southbound Interstate 5 near the transition to eastbound state Route 52, according to the California Highway Patrol. The truck was blocking traffic lanes.
The southbound I-5 connector to eastbound SR-52 was closed while crews worked to remove the overturned truck, according to Caltrans. The La Jolla Parkway on-ramp to SR-52 was also closed.

The accident prompted a SigAlert. Traffic may be impacted for roughly two to three hours, the CHP said.
