Boy, 14, Shot And Killed In San Diego; Shooter At Large

The boy's killer was described simply as one of a group of men, according to police.

SAN DIEGO, CA — A 14-year-old boy was shot to death Sunday afternoon in the Normal Heights section of San Diego.

The shooting happened around 1:30 p.m. near the intersection of Polk Avenue and 37th Street, NBC7 San Diego reported.

Paramedics tried to revive the boy but he died at the scene, the station reported. His name was withheld pending notification of next of kin.
