
SAN DIEGO, CA – A brush fire sparked Wednesday near San Diego State University, sending flames up a tree and smoke into the sky.
The blaze broke out on 5300 Campus Ave. Crews quickly got the fire under control, according to SDSU officials.
Traffic was blocked in the area. SDSU officials advised the public to avoid the area.
