Event Details
On Saturday, October 3, 2026, the San Diego Geocachers will host a major event at NTC Park in Liberty Station called “Signal’s Island Goes GEO M*A*S*H.” Now in its second year, the event follows last year’s Gilligan’s Island theme with a new celebration of the iconic television series M*A*S*H. The event is expected to bring more than 500 visitors from across the country to San Diego to explore geocaches, activities, and events at Liberty Station and throughout the city for a full week of geocaching fun. Attendees are encouraged to wear their favorite camo and get ready for boot camp at the geocacher’s version of the 4077th.
The event is free and will run from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Throughout the event and surrounding week, participants can also explore event-related geocaches and Adventure Labs, which are self-guided tours that lead participants to different locations while offering challenges and information along the way. Event-related geocaches and Adventure Labs are located around Liberty Station, as well as spread throughout San Diego, with locations ranging from La Jolla to Coronado. Participation is free and only requires downloading the Geocaching app on a mobile device.
