Colleges, Local Schools Closed Monday Due To Tropical Storm Hilary

SAN DIEGO, CA — Classes were canceled for some students Monday in San Diego County after Tropical Storm Hilary brought gusty winds and rain to the region.

Here is a list of confirmed school closures:

Colleges and Universities

• San Diego State University and SDSU's Imperial Beach campus were closed Monday. Classes were moved to virtual instruction, with most faculty and staff teleworking.
• Cal State San Marcos was closed Monday. Classes were canceled or moved to virtual formats.
• San Diego Community College District was closed Monday. All classes at San Diego City, Mesa, Miramar, and Continuing Education colleges were canceled.
• All Palomar College sites were closed Monday. Both onsite and online classes were canceled.
