Dia De Los Muertos Celebration To Return To SeaWorld San Diego

The weekend event, slated Nov. 3-5, will ​showcase the flavors and sounds of the holiday.

SAN DIEGO, CA — SeaWorld San Diego's Dia De Los Muertos celebration is back.

The weekend event, slated Nov. 3-5, will showcase the flavors and sounds of the holiday, which is widely observed in Mexico and in other places around the world, especially by people of Mexican heritage.

The celebration will feature Catrina statues and ofrendas, or offerings, of flowers and mementos honoring loved ones who have died.

Traditional food will be available for purchase at the park, including conchas, pan de muerto, chamango, and Hot Cheetos elote in a cup. There will also be a bar serving micheladas and margaritas.

A mariachi band will perform multiple times each day. SeaWorld will also play traditional Day of the Dead music in the park pathways and area hosting the ofrendas, food and decor.

SeaWorld has hosted a Dia De Los Muertos celebration since 2016. The event is included in park admission.
