Earthquake Shakes Near Borrego Springs In San Diego County
The quake was reported Wednesday afternoon. Did you feel it?
BORREGO SPRINGS, CA — An earthquake struck San Diego County Wednesday afternoon.
The 3.5-magnitude quake was reported at 2:59 p.m. roughly 4 miles south-southwest of Borrego Springs in northeastern San Diego County, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The quake had a depth of about 7.4 miles.
Residents reported feeling the quake in Alpine, Borrego Springs, El Cajon, Escondido, La Mesa, San Diego, San Marcos and Spring Valley, according to the USGS's "Did You Feel It?" map.
