The new Thorn tasting room in Mission Hills is mere steps away from Fort Oak, an eatery with Trust Restaurant Group, which also owns the acclaimed Trust Restaurant in Hillcrest and neighborhood bar Hundred Proof in University Heights. Chef Wise brought to Fort Oak his affinity for wood-fired cooking, along with a seasonal selection of small plates, an oyster bar and exclusive seats to a Chef’s Counter Experience.
