Gas Prices Spike Over Weekend In San Diego County
The average gas price has now risen every day over the past two weeks, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

SAN DIEGO COUNTY, CA – The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County was $3.345 Monday, jumping 1.2 cents overnight after spiking 4.6 cents over the weekend.
The average gas price has now risen each day over the past two weeks, including 2.8 cents on Saturday and 1.8 cents Sunday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. On average, the price has risen nearly a penny a day during the two-week run of increases, jumping 13.3 cents.
Monday's average price is 10.6 cents higher than a week ago, 24.2 cents higher than one month ago and 50.4 cents greater than one year ago. San Diego's average gas price is also 6.9 cents above the state average and 76.6 cents above the national average.
