Howl-O-Scream Halloween Event Kicks Off Friday At SeaWorld San Diego
Howl-O-Scream will feature haunted houses, scare zones, vile vignettes, themed bars and live entertainment.

SAN DIEGO, CA — Scares and screams return to SeaWorld San Diego Friday, with the start of Howl-O-Scream, the theme park's nighttime Halloween event.
The separately ticketed event, which is intended for mature audiences, will run on select nights through Oct. 31. The event will feature haunted houses, scare zones, vile vignettes, themed bars and live entertainment.
"We're so excited that we can announce additional offerings to scare and terrify guests at this year's Howl-O-Scream" said Jim Lake, park president of SeaWorld San Diego.

This year's haunted houses include the all-new immersive 3D Circus of the Damned. Fan favorite Simon's Slaughterhouse is back, as well as Nightmare Experiment, Death Water Bayou and Area 64: Alien Outbreak.
The themed scare zones scattered throughout the park include Clown Gauntlet, Deadly Toys, The Graveyard, Sea of Souls, and Carnival of Chaos. There will be two stage shows, the Opening Scaremony and the Call of the Siren.

Attendees will also encounter all-new entertainment throughout the event, with a "vile surprise hidden around each corner," according to SeaWorld. The five all-new Vile Vignettes include Misfortune, All Hallow's Harvest, Dark Magic, Call from Beyond, and Simon's Meat Market.
"Howl-O-Scream is a unique offering to those looking for a scary night out, as it offers a huge variety of things to do within one major event," Lake said. "For those who are returning, expect an amplified experience with all-new scares lurking behind every corner. For first-time visitors, you're in for a terrifying treat exploring all the horrors and haunts the event has to offer."
Single-day tickets start at $39.99. Unlimited admission tickets cost $104.99.
