Hyatt Vacation Ownership Hiring 200 At The Welk San Diego

SAN DIEGO, CA — Hyatt Vacation Ownership plans to hire up to 200 people this summer in the San Diego area, the company announced Monday. The positions are for a variety of departments at the Escondido-based resort The Welk.

The Welk is a resort that features a live theater, two golf courses, Pizza Hut Express, a restaurant, retail shop and marketplace with Starbucks.

First, second and third shift opportunities are available. Non-tipped hourly positions start at $15/hour, according to the company. Salaried management positions are also available.

Relevant industry experience is preferred but not required, according to Hyatt Vacation Ownership. Paid training will be provided.

Hyatt Vacation Ownership plans to host in-person hiring events throughout the summer. The next hiring event is scheduled from 4-6 p.m. Tuesday at The Welk at 8860 Lawrence Welk Drive in Escondido. Pre-register or apply online.
