Hyatt Vacation Ownership To Host Hiring Event Tuesday At The Welk

SAN DIEGO, CA — Hyatt Vacation Ownership is hosting hiring events with plans to hire up to 200 people this summer in the San Diego area, the company said.

The open positions are for a variety of departments at the Escondido-based resort The Welk. The Welk features a live theater, two golf courses, Pizza Hut Express, a restaurant, retail shop and marketplace with Starbucks.

First, second and third shift opportunities are available. Non-tipped hourly positions start at $15/hour, according to the company. Salaried management positions are also available.

Relevant industry experience is preferred but not required, according to the company. Paid training will be provided.

Hyatt Vacation Ownership has already hosted two in-person hiring events in July. The next hiring event is slated from 4-6 p.m. Tuesday, July 26, at The Welk at 8860 Lawrence Welk Drive in Escondido. Click here to apply online.
