Male Dies On Side Of Freeway In Northeastern San Diego County
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
ALPINE, CA — A male driver died Monday on the shoulder of the Kumeyaay( 8) Highway in the Alpine area of the Cuyamaca Mountains of San Diego County.
The driver's aunt notified the California Highway Patrol that he had parked her white Lexus SUV behind his silver Honda after she found him at 9:40 p.m. Monday on the westbound Kumeyaay Highway just west of Victoria Drive. She said she had been looking for him.
Arriving officers reported that the male appeared to be unconscious and they didn't know if he was breathing. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
