Man Robs U.S. Bank Branch In Escondido: FBI

After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, the robber left the bank and fled the area on foot, officials said.

ESCONDIDO, CA — A man in a blue surgical mask robbed a bank Tuesday in northern San Diego County, authorities said.

The man gave a demand note to a teller shortly after 9 a.m. at the U.S. Bank branch at 2369 East Valley Parkway in Escondido, according to the FBI.

The teller gave the robber an undisclosed amount of cash. He left the bank and fled the area on foot.

The man was described as a Black man in his early to mid-30s, with short, curly black hair. He was wearing a black T-shirt, black shorts, black-and-white sneakers and a blue surgical mask over his mouth and nose.
