Man Stabbed Twice After Argument In San Diego's East Village
The suspect stabbed the victim once in the abdomen and once in the right bicep, police said.
SAN DIEGO, CA — A 35-year-old man was stabbed twice in downtown San Diego, police reported Friday.
At 8:01 p.m. Thursday, two men got into an argument over cigarettes at 500 16th St. in the East Village, said Officer Robert Heims of the San Diego Police Department.
The suspect stabbed the victim once in the abdomen and once in the right bicep, the officer said.

The suspect, who was about 5-feet, 10-inches tall and wearing a black shirt and black jeans, left westbound on Island Avenue.
The victim was rushed to the hospital for treatment of injuries not considered to be life-threatening.

SDPD Central Division detectives were investigating the stabbing.
