Security Guard Apparently Caught Masturbating in Viral Video: San Diego Chargers Issue Statement

"We apologize to any fans who may have witnessed the incident."

SAN DIEGO, CA – The San Diego Chargers issued a statement Tuesday after a video that appeared to show a security guard engaging in a sexual act during Sunday's game at Qualcomm Stadium quickly went viral.

"We are aware of the disturbing actions of an Elite security staff member at Sunday's game," the statement read. "We apologize to any fans who may have witnessed the incident. Elite Security is currently investigating the incident and has vowed to take immediate and appropriate action."

The video appears to show a security guard from Elite Security near the Chargers’ cheerleaders at Sunday's defeat to the Oakland Raiders. He appears to be masturbating as they perform.

The Chargers also issued a statement from Elite Security, which has since fired the security guard, according to 10 News.

"Elite has become aware of the social media post of inappropriate actions of an Elite staff member at Qualcomm Stadium on December 18th," the statement reads. "Elite has employed thousands of people over the past 21 years, insists on the highest moral standards from our employees and regrets this isolated incident. Elite is currently investigating the incident and has no additional comment at this time."
