San Diego County Fair Returns To Del Mar Fairgrounds

The 21-day fair, which was canceled in 2020 and scaled back last year, will run through the Fourth of July.

SAN DIEGO, CA — Following a two-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the San Diego County Fair is back in full swing this summer.

The fair, which was canceled in 2020 and scaled back last year, opened Wednesday and will run through July 4 at the Del Mar Fairgrounds.

The fair will feature rides, concerts, exhibits, animals, and of course, fair food and drinks.

The Toyota Summer Concert Series lineup on the Corona Grandstand Stage includes Jason Derulo, Prince Royce, Shaggy, Los Tigres del Norte, For King & Country, Chris Young, Ramón Ayala, Nate Bargatze with Leanne Morgan, Goo Goo Dolls, Sam Hunt, John Fogerty, La Adictiva, Gabriel Iglesias, and Enanitos Verdes.

The Paddock Concert Series with tribute bands as well as drink festivals will also return to the fair. The Toast of the Coast Wine Festival is scheduled June 11, followed by the San Diego International Beer Festival June 18 and 19, and the Distilled Spirit and Cocktail Festival July 2.

The fair will close with the Fireworks Extravaganza on the Fourth of July.

The fair will run 21 days at the Del Mar Fairgrounds at 2260 Jimmy Durante Blvd. It will be closed Mondays and Tuesdays in June.

Fair admission and parking must be purchased in advance online for a particular date.
