San Diego County's Most Popular Baby Names in 2016
Noah and Emma ranked first in the region last year.
SAN DIEGO COUNTY, CA – Noah and Emma were the most popular baby names in San Diego County in 2016, the county's Health and Human Services Agency reported Thursday.
For the second year in a row, Noah was the most popular male baby name in the county. Of the 45,000 or so babies born in the region last year, 236 were named Noah.
Emma, which ranked second the previous year, switched spots with Mia for the most popular female baby name in the county. A total of 263 babies were given the name.
