San Diego Officer Injured In Crash With Suspected DUI Driver: Reports
His patrol car was rear-ended as he helped a motorist whose car was disabled, Fox 5 reported.
SAN DIEGO, CA — A San Diego police officer was injured early Monday morning when a woman suspected of Driving Under the Influence rear-ended his patrol vehicle, according to a report on ABC 10 reported.
San Diego police told the outlet that the officer was stopped along I-15 near Friars Road while helping a disabled motorist with a tow truck at about 1 a.m., when a woman driving a Land Rover crashed into the back of the patrol car, Fox 5 San Diego reported.

The officer suffered minor injuries and was taken to the hospital for treatment, the outlet reported. The woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI, police told the outlet.
