Starting June 3, the zoo will stay open later and offer live entertainment from a variety of artists, special summer treats, and an opportunity to see animals at nighttime. Entertainment will include acrobats, dancers, musical performers and Dr. Zoolittle, according to the zoo.

Nighttime Zoo will give visitors a chance to check out the new Denny Sanford Wildlife Explorers Basecamp, which is divided into four types of habitats. Explorers will be able to see nocturnal animals from each habitat, including a coconut crab, a prehensile-tailed porcupine, an ocelot, a tamandua, caimans, fennec foxes and scorpions.
