  1. Looking for something fun to do this weekend? Well, you are in luck! You can visit the San Diego County Orchid Society's international show at the Scottish Rite Events Center. Or you can see the dance production "Belonging: A Place for Everyone" at the Light Box Theater at Liberty Station on Saturday. Another option is to attend 'Rock for a Cause' at the Spreckels Organ Pavillion in Balboa Park on Saturday. Musicians will gather at 5:30 p.m. for the free "Music Tribute to Peace, Dignity and Democracy." The concert is a fundraising event for relief in Ukraine. 2. K-12 students can create an original superhero for a chance to win four Comic-Con tickets. The goal is for students to design their own heroic figure who helps end hunger through food rescue. The hero would collect surplus or imperfect food from donors and deliver them to people in need. The opportunity is a partnership between Feeding San Diego and the Comic-Con Museum. 3. Looking for a pocket-sized pet? Well, now is the time to adopt one for only $5. The San Diego Humane Society has hamsters, rabbits, guinea pigs, mice, and a turtle for adoption. "With more than 200 small pets available for adoption in our care, we are hoping the community will want to Spring into Love and open their hearts and homes to a small pet or two," Jessica Des Lauriers, San Diego Humane Society Chief Operating Officer, said in a statement. "Every animal who finds a home and is adopted makes space for another animal who is in urgent need of care." Walk-in adoptions take place from 10 a.m.to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday.
