SeaWorld San Diego To Kick Off Summer Concert Series Saturday

SAN DIEGO, CA — SeaWorld San Diego's Bayside Amphitheater is scheduled to reopen Saturday with concerts slated throughout the summer.

The Electric Ocean Summer Concert Series kicks off Saturday with the classic rock music of Asia featuring John Payne at the outdoor venue overlooking Mission Bay.

Country artist David Nail is scheduled June 25, followed by Canadian country singer MacKenzie Porter on July 23, R&B singer Ashanti on July 30, and Micky Dolenz of The Monkees on Aug. 13.

The summer concerts are part of the theme park's Electric Ocean summertime event.

SeaWorld offers extended summer hours during Electric Ocean, which features family-friendly dance parties, live performances, fireworks and more.

Concerts start at 6 p.m. More concerts will be announced at a later date, according to SeaWorld.

Electric Ocean runs through Aug. 14. The event and all concerts are included with park admission.
