Series Of Armed Robberies Reported In San Diego
Police are seeing the public's help in identifying the suspects of the armed takeover-style robberies.
SAN DIEGO, CA — Police are investigating a series of armed robberies in San Diego.
Several armed takeover-style robberies have taken place over the past six weeks, according to the San Diego Police Department. They have occurred at convenience stores, typically in the late evening hours, throughout the city.
"These crimes are extremely concerning because of the potential for violence and loss of life," police Lt. Matt Dobbs said. "Based on the suspect descriptions and actions, we believe at least 10 of these robberies in the city of San Diego have been committed by the same group. We also believe this same suspect group are responsible for robberies in other jurisdictions."
