Sesame Place San Diego Celebrates National Waterpark Day With Prizes
The Chula Vista-based water park will surprise randomly selected guests at the top of every hour with giveaways and prizes.

SAN DIEGO, CA — Sesame Place San Diego is celebrating National Waterpark Day with surprise giveaways and prizes.
Randomly selected guests at the top of every hour Friday will win giveaways and prizes, including backpacks, character plushes, sunglasses, magic queue passes for select rides and reserved daybeds, according to the water park.
Earlier this summer, Sesame Place opened the all-new Count's Splash Castle, a multi-level water-play attraction that features more than 100 play elements, including three giant tipping buckets that dump more than 1,300 gallons of water combined. In celebration of the new attraction, the water park also announced that children under 3 now receive free admission.

Sesame Place San Diego is the only theme park on the West Coast based on the award-winning children's show.
The 17-acre park features 18 Sesame Street-themed rides and water attractions, an interactive Sesame Street Neighborhood complete with the iconic 123 Stoop, a 500,000-gallon wave pool, a musical play area, a parade, live character shows, and photo opportunities with beloved characters from the long-running show.

Sesame Place San Diego is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday. The water park is at 2052 Entertainment Circle in Chula Vista.
