Shea Homes to Open 5 New Communities, 16 Model Homes in April
From hip row homes at Millenia in Chula Vista to spacious country residences in Escondido, Shea Homes offers something for everyone.
Five new communities and 16 new model homes will be unveiled across San Diego next month, as Shea Homes celebrates grand opening events from Chula Vista to Mission Valley to Escondido.
On Saturday, April 22, as Shea unveils new model homes at Lucent II at Civita in Mission Valley, and at Element and Z at Millenia in Chula Vista. The following Saturday, on April 29, Shea will open model homes at Heritage Collection and The Estates at Canyon Grove in Escondido
“Our upcoming openings offer a full range, from attached homes from the high $300,000s to spacious country homes in a more rural setting,” said Vanessa Linn, vice president of sales and marketing at Shea Homes San Diego

Currently pre-selling with two Quick Move-In homes available, Lucent II is comprised of several five-story buildings with interior elevator access and an enclosed two-garage on street level. Lucent II lives like a single-level home, in a penthouse configuration with wrap-around balconies. Wide-open floorplans are framed by full window walls on three sides.
“Lucent at Civita is convenient for San Diegans commuting either south to downtown San Diego or north to the Sorrento Valley/UTC/Torrey Pines area,” said Linn. Affordable living is available at Element and Z in Chula Vista, where VA and FHA financing is available for urban homes priced from the high $300,000s. One of the first new neighborhoods in the walkable Millenia master-planned community, Shea homeowners will have access to amenities including a pool, spa, dog park and walking trails.
At Element, Shea Homes is building 70 detached residences configured in a motor court design. Ranging from 1,775 to 2,248 square feet, Element offers three to five bedrooms, two-and-a-half to three-and-a-half baths, and a two-car side-by-side garage. Located in North Escondido at 1297 Vista Avenue in Escondido, single-family homes at Heritage Collection and The Estates at Canyon Grove are surrounded by schools, stables and citrus groves. The Estates consists of four floor plans offering three to six bedrooms, and 3.5 to 4.5 baths. The Estates also includes two single-level floor plans. The Heritage Collection offers three- to five-bedroom homes that range from 2,296 to 3,402 square feet, and includes two popular single-level floor plans.
