Spectrum to Host Virtual Hiring Event in San Diego on August 5

Spectrum is inviting job seekers to a virtual hiring event for Community Solutions Customer Service Representatives on August 5 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. PT. The event gives job seekers an opportunity to interview directly with hiring leaders and learn how they can make a real difference by guiding customers through Spectrum’s Community Solutions products and services.

Community Solutions Customer Service Representatives help customers resolve inquiries and troubleshoot Video, Internet and Streaming issues using Spectrum’s diagnostic tools. These employees manage account activation, maintenance and billing concerns through thoughtful phone support, recommend upgrades and solutions based on customer needs and process orders for new sales and account updates. They also help facilitate escalations and determine if field visits are needed for complex issues.

Qualified candidates bring a high school diploma or equivalent, customer service and sales or retention experience, and strong verbal and written communication skills. Additional skills include complex problem-solving, multitasking, goal orientation and a positive phone demeanor. One or more years of experience working in cable operations or a telecommunications call center is preferred.

The position offers a starting wage of $20 per hour, with compensation up to $34.55 per hour based on skills, qualifications, experience and location.
