New Studio Focused on Running and Walking Races into Little Italy, Celebrates Opening with Weekend of Free Classes

STRIDE, a new boutique fitness franchise that offers treadmill-based interval training, is opening its newest studio in San Diego on June 22 at 785 W Ash Street. The indoor running studio will to create a welcoming, supportive space where anybody can be a walker or runner.

STRIDE San Diego is owned by local husband and wife team Tory and Charin Prestara. The couple also owns an opthamology practice in San Marcos and have had a long-time passion for health and wellness. They want to bring the community of STRIDE to Little Italy to inspire people to stay active.

The Little Italy location will be operated by Paul Le. Having moved to California to pursue his passion of fitness and wellness, Le worked up from instructor to fitness director. Le’s passion in his work environment has always been the interaction with members and seeing their progress in meeting their goals. Having worked in larger box gyms and specialized facilities, Le recognized what motivates people and keeps them coming back is the environment and who is supporting them.
