• Support sought for family of California deputy who died during Baker to Vegas race (pvtimes.com) — San Dimas residents are mourning LASD Deputy Levi Vargas, who was recently stationed in the city and died after a medical emergency during the Baker to Vegas law-enforcement relay race. A GoFundMe has been launched to support his wife Amanda, their pug Penny, and family as they cope with the loss, and a memorial service was held this week in Chino.
