SAN FRANCISCO, CA — By now, everyone's heard of San Francisco's latest "sea-celebrity" in Chonkers, a massive 2,000-pound sea lion at San Fransico's Pier 39.
Droves of people have been making their way each day to the pier in hopes of getting a glimpse of the chunky boy.
But let's not forget about the sea lions who made Pier 39 what it is today, including these sleepy little fellas.
When they're not sleeping, the pier is filled with their loud barks and sounds of splashing from the platforms to the water. Sometimes visitors can catch them play-fighting, but you have to "sea" that one to believe it.
If you have an awesome photo of nature, breathtaking scenery, kids caught being kids, a pet doing something funny, or something unusual you happen to catch with your camera, we'd love to feature it on Patch.
We're looking for high-resolution images that reflect the beauty and fun that is Northern California, and that show off your unique talents. Cell phone images are fine.
