1. 2. Inspectors put baggage scales to the test at San Jose airport (nbcbayarea.com) — If you’re flying out of Mineta San Jose International, inspectors just checked every baggage scale today to ensure you aren’t overcharged for checked bags. County Weights and Measures staff briefly shut down and recalibrated several out-of-tolerance scales, and by tonight all SJC scales were certified accurate for both passenger fairness and flight safety.

3. Former Cupertino mayor inspires Asian Americans to get involved (sanjosespotlight.com) — Asian American leadership in the South Bay gets a boost from former Cupertino mayor Michael Chang, whose APALI program has trained hundreds for public service roles influencing San Jose and nearby communities. He’s pushing for stronger Asian American representation and civic engagement to counter discrimination and political underrepresentation, while planning APALI’s long-term future in the Valley.

4. TAEMIN Launches ‘LiMiNaL' World Tour 2026-2027 (mamasgeeky.com) — San Jose K-pop fans can look forward to TAEMIN bringing his new ‘LiMiNaL’ world tour to the city as part of his 2026–27 global run.
