URGENT: Fund Alzheimer's and Dementia Research—Now More Than Ever

A new case of dementia develops worldwide every 3 seconds. Every3 seconds—according to research. Every 65 seconds, that new case is Alzheimer's disease.

I see the effects of this devastating disease firsthand while caring for my Nana (my grandpa)—as I watch one of the smartest people I know slowly lose his ability to walk and speak.

A projected 13 MILLION Americans will live with Alzheimer's disease by 2050, unless we take action against dementia NOW.

I urge each and everyone of you reading this to please CALL Congressman Liccardo’s office at (408) 245-2339, asking him to fully fund Alzheimer’s and Dementia Initiatives in FY26.

By funding critical research at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and public health at the CDC, Congressman Liccardo can provide millions of American families like my own with a sense of hope—-ensuring this is not a reality for anyone else’s grandpa. We can’t afford not to fund research.
