• A new look for the San Lorenzo Theater (mercurynews.com) — San Lorenzo residents can look forward to the historic Lorenzo Theater’s grand reopening on January 23, 2027, after Alameda County invested $17.8 million in its exterior renovation and seismic upgrades. Hundreds recently gathered under the newly lit LED neon marquee to celebrate this milestone, which local leaders say will help revitalize San Lorenzo Village and create new arts and community opportunities.
